Glengarry Community Hall

The building was completed in early 2006, replacing our old hall, which collapsed in 2004. The hall is located in the western outskirts of Invergarry village, near the shinty pitch, on the road towards Skye. There is ample car parking.

The public toilets for the village are located at the hall, which also has a cafe serving a range of freshly-prepared food and drinks. Drop in and relax for a while!

The main hall can seat up to 200 for concerts, and up to 145 for table layouts, making it ideal for private functions as well as musical and arts events. Our programme of events is set to increase year on year , see details seperately.

The cafe/lounge and main hall are both served by a full specification kitchen, with stainless steel food preparation areas, 6 burner cooker and
oven and full food handling facilities and equipment.

There is also a smaller meeting room, which can accomodate up to 22 or 15 round tables for meetings or training events. This room has
private toilet and hand washing facilities, making it equally suitable for playgroup, therapy or clinical purposes. There is an additional dressing/anti-room available for large scale events.

The hall also offers two sales point locations, one by the front door and the other in the cafe/lounge, for the sale of local, non-commercial handicrafts, etc.

The main hall opens out to a veranda, stepped seating and patio arena, which is ideal for outside talks, informal events and even barbecues. This area has several picnic benches and acts as a fair weather outdoor extension for the cafe/lounge.
